Don't worry, Canada

Our new chaotic streaming-focused future has a number of problems, one being the lack of accessibility to these streaming services outside of the United States. Disney wants to make sure that fans overseas won't be having those problems, confirming that Disney+ will launch in Canada and the Netherlands on the same November 12 date as the United States.

The media behemoth also confirmed what devices will support the service at launch, and you definitely own at least one of these. The list consists of Apple TV, Android mobile devices, Android TV, Chromecast, desktop web browsers, iPad, iPhone, PlayStation 4, Roku streaming players, Roku TV, and Xbox One. Curiously absent are Amazon products, Nintendo Switch, and Samsung smart TVs.

A week after the initial launch of Disney+, the service will also launch in Australia and New Zealand on November 19th. In Canada, the service will priced at $8.99CAD per month (or $89.99 CAD per year) and in the Netherlands, it will be €6.99 per month (or €69.99 per year). Prices will be $8.99AUD per month (or $89.99 per year) and $9.99NZD per month (or $99.99 per year) in Australia and New Zealand, respectively.

According to The Verge, users can directly subscribe to Disney+ through some of these products, including Apple devices. Of course, that will mean that Apple will get a cut of that subscription. While Disney didn't say whether or not their service would be one of many included as Apple TV Channels or Amazon Prime Channels or the like, Apple users can still check out and track Disney+ content on the Apple TV app.

We're getting closer to the launch of Disney+, which should be exciting for anyone desiring more Star Wars and Marvel stuff. Just don't expect them to be happy with you sharing your account.
