Ender’s Game to be scored by James Horner

Director Gavin Hood has hired the Oscar-winning film composer James Horner to score the film, Ender’s Game. James Horner was done a number of films in his career including, Aliens, Avatar, Braveheart, The Rocketeer, Glory, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and I can just keep on going with this list.

Besides having a big time film composer, we have Harrison Ford looking really old, Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfield, Viola Davis, and several others. The film is slated for release November 1, 2013, and hopefully it won’t be delayed once again.

I want this to be good, I really am. I love the series with this being my particularly favorite novel, but man do they have a lot on the line with this film. In my opinion, this is going to be one of those films that will either do really well, or poorly. There’s a big fan base that has wanted a movie for quite a while, but will it deliver?
