Felicity Jones for Warren Beatty’s Howard Hughes biopic

Even though Like Crazy turned out to be rather mediocre, it did provide a strong platform for the wonderful Felicity Jones to take her career to the next level. Jones has enjoyed a solid career to date as a working actress, popping up in everything from indie comedies and period dramas to Doctor Who, but she looks to have now cemented her biggest role to date as the female lead of Warren Beatty’s presently untitled Howard Hughes biopic.

Beatty selected her personally for the role, where she will be playing the lover of Howard Hughes’ driver who eventually upgrades to the reclusive billionaire himself (to be inevitably played by Beatty). Though the role of the driver has not yet been cast, the film is scheduled to go into production next year. Before then, Jones will be returning to the big screen in Hysteria, a Victorian-set comedy about the invention of the vibrator. So hooray!
