First clip from Terrence Malick's To the Wonder

Some very subtle film technique at work here

This first clip for Terrence Malick's To the Wonder may not be the stuff of excitement, but it does demonstrate some wonderfully subtle film making and cinematography. There's hardly any dialogue, and what is spoken sounds like French, and it's only a minute long, but it's still enough to make me think this may really turn out to be something beautiful and deep.

This particular clip stars Ben Affleck and Olga Kurylenko as their characters visit France's The Mont Saint-Michel, aka "The Wonder of the West", as referred to in the movie's title. The film also stars Javier Bardem and Rachel McAdams, and is looking at an April 12th release date.
