First Peabody & Sherman trailer has some little girl too

"That's right Mr. Peabody!" "Quiet you."

Peabody's Improbable History was one of my favorite segments from when I caught reruns of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show at three in the morning on Cartoon Network. I loved its nonchalant history lessons, but most of all, I loved its smart dog, Mr. Peabody who was always too cool for school. In this first trailer for DreamWorks's version, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, no one is too cool for school.

Sure there are references to the cartoon (WABAC, or "Wayback" machine), but something seems generic about the whole thing. There's a random love story, Sherman doesn't want to go to school, Mr. Peabody (which Ty Burrell is great in) is inexplicably Sherman's dad, random "Bro" jokes, but whatever. Although it looks generic, there are certainly worse properties than Peabody's Improbable History

In the gallery you'll find the poster for the film...as well as something I always think about when thinking of Mr. Peabody. Mr Peabody & Sherman quiets you March 7th next year.
