First teaser for The King's Man hits the trenches

Mind the mud--don't want to soil the suit!

Leaning heavily into its World War I era aesthetic, we've got our first look today at The King's Man, the upcoming prequel in the Kingsman spy-action-madness series, adapting Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' comic books.

Set during the First World War and its aftermath, The King's Man is set to detail the beginnings of the titular spy agency, with Ralph Fiennes playing none other than TE Lawrence, seemingly an early member of Her Majesty's secret service. The massive cast is set to include Harris Dickinson, Liam Neeson, Charles Dance, Djimon Hounson, and more. Rhys Ifans has been cast as advisor to the Russian aristocracy and staple of historical fiction, Grigori Rasputin, so it looks as if The King's Man is playing with history and the story you don't know, which is always good fun.

Matthew Vaughan continues his duty as director, and is expected to continue sustaining his Kingsman franchise with Fox, with a third entry in the main films planned to follow The King's Man in the future.

The King's Man is scheduled for release February 14, 2020.
