First trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi ends the jedi

Dark. Light. So much more.

We're going to get a lot of Star Wars trailers in the coming years. In fact we've had plenty just off of the first two Disney released films, and yet the second that theme kicks in I get excited like its the first time all over again. That's true once more for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. (We're done with the whole episode thing, right?)

This trailer has it all. Teasers. Luke. Light sabers. More importantly, though, it hints at a film that will be strikingly different from its predecessor. A more character focused dive into the universe and mythos surrounding the Jedi. The kind of thing that got lost in the prequels political squablings and The Force Awakens rehashing of plots. This looks to be the deep dive into the characters that having an expanded cinematic universe lets you do.

More important than any of this trailer crap is the new poster that dropped. It's perfect and nothing will ever be as perfect as it.
