First trailer for Steve Jobs

Michael Fassbender's voice is inspiring

It is not the first, nor will it be the last movie to take a look back at the visionary creator that was Steve Jobs, but the first trailer for Danny Boyle's Steve Jobs is beautifully inspiring.

Whether you like him or not, Steve Jobs is an icon, and his legacy will live on in history and pop culture for decades. When Asthon Kutcher played said icon in 2013, it was difficult to not fall asleep. Luckily, I think this will be a non-issue in this one. Written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle, Michael Fassbender will don the famous black turtlenecks, and from what we can see - or hear - in the trailer below - it seems intent to inspire.

Said to follow Steve Jobs before the announcements of three major product unveilings, Sorkin's screenplay is at least unique, if all else should fail. It's difficult to take away too much from this trailer, other than Fassbender's brilliance. My question now is whether or not the movie will be as frantically directed as Boyle's other work, or how many walk-and-talks we'll see throughout. The movie is not too far off, and is a likely Oscar contender already (for what that's worth), and with this trailer I can finally accept the loss of David Fincher and Christian Bale, who was originally set to direct and star.
