First trailer for Terrence Malick’s Knight of Cups

I don’t have very much experience with Terrence Malick’s films, but while I don’t necessarily “get” his movies myself, I understand why he’s a big deal. Filmed back in 2012, Knight of Cups is finally primed for a 2015 release. Starring a whole host of big names (including Christian Bale, Antonio Banderas, Ben Kingsley, Natalie Portman, Imogen Poots, Isabel Lucas and many others), this first trailer is striking. 

I love how it’s full of intensity before it reels it in during the second half. Knight of Cups releases sometime next year.
