Flix for Short: Facts About Projection

0

Facts About Projection is a super sweet little self-portrait by Temujin Doran. He describes himself as a projectionist; someone who sets up the 35 millimeter film still used by movie theaters. Doran lives in Islington in London, where he works at the small theater The Screen on the Green.

The short is pretty darn adorable as Doran muses about his job and the eventualities of working with a medium that is being slowly replaced. I really enjoy the personal-yet-universal qualities of the story and the bittersweet hopeful note that it ends on.
