Flix for Short: Sheep Impact (Seagalogy 101)

[This week we'll be looking at a few bits from Seagology: A Study of the Ass-Kicking Films of Steven Seagal by Vern (Titan Books). Recently released, the expanded and updated book tracks Steven Seagal's career from the big screen to the small screen. It also includes some of Seagal's side ventures. Look for our spotlight on the book tomorrow.]

For today's extra-long class in Seagalogy, we'll be watching a lot of videos. (That's what lecturers do when they're tired.) We'll start with an original short film starring Steven Seagal via Carlton Dry. As Vern writes in Seagalogy:

In 2010, this Australian beer company held a contest looking for submissions for "your most funny or exciting story." The winner would get to be played by Seagal in a short film based on their story.

The winner was 26-year-old Paul Wieland of Minnamurra, New South Wales. His story is above. After the cut are the two Carlton Dry ads about the short film contest. Your class in Seagalogy 101 continues in half an hour.
