Have you ever had one of those moments where you think to yourself, “Man, this is way too cool. I am never going to top this”? I had that on Friday, when I got to have a chat with Elmo. Yes, that Elmo. The fuzzy red monster adored by children all over the world. It’s not really going to get a lot more awesome than that.
Elmo is too young to really watch documentaries, so he unfortunately did not have much to say about Being Elmo: A Puppeteer’s Journey. Luckily, we were also able to have a serious chat about the film with Elmo’s right-hand man, Kevin Clash. While Elmo doesn’t have much to say about any of his “work,” he can definitely make fun of my dog’s name and act like a pterodactyl. And really, what’s more important than that?
