G.I. Joe writers hired for movie about gargoyles

0

Screenwriters David Elliot and Paul Lovett have been hired by Disney to write a script for a live-action movie about vigilante gargoyles who fight crime and stuff. Probably. Elliot and Lovett also collaborated on the recent live-action G.I Joe adaption, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. (See below the jump.)

Though unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on how you look at it - this is not going to be a live-action adaption of the 1990's cartoon Gargoyles. The Gargoyles movie is rumored to be about the statues acting as "guardian angels" over the cities they are located in.
