In new reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and her own Instagram account, the actress talks about how she is thrilled to work with actor Tom Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie on the upcoming continuation of Paramount’s long-running series.
Elsewhere in the article, Paramount confirms that the seventh installment will be released on July 23, 2021, with the eighth film set for August 5, 2022. The two sequels will likely be filmed back-to-back and may possibly conclude the series in a glorious fashion. As well as main star Tom Cruise, actress Rebecca Ferguson is slated to reprise her role of Isla Faust in the next few entries.
