Honest Trailers does a fatality on the Mortal Kombat movies

0

Honest Trailers has been doing some gangbusters videos lately, going hard on Suicide Squad and showing the love for The Empire Strikes Back. They’re back to being mocking with Mortal Kombat, just in time for Christmas.

Mortal Kombat is a Christmas movie, right? Oh, it’s to coincide with the release of stinkburger video game movie Assassin’s Creed, which happens to be out around Christmas? And critically acclaimed German dramedy Toni Erdmann isn’t a Christmas movie either? Whatever.

Watch and dance to techno below.

Honest Trailers - Mortal Kombat

I never really liked the MK movies as a teen. They’re bad martial arts movies made by people who don’t know how to make martial arts movies. The show seemed okay, but I only caught it because it preceded wrastlin’ when I was a youngin’ and a-droppin’ my g’s on gerunds.

Still, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation is some prime schlock garbage. Raiden’s “Never give up hope!” is delightful no matter how many times I see it.

Enjoy that? I sure did.

Well, folks, this may be it until after Xmas, so…
