Hot Tub Time Machine 2 gets a 2014 release date

If Adam Scott and Clark Duke are to be believed anyway.

While Hot Tub Time Machine may have not been the best comedy, it performed well enough on home video to warrant a sequel. Production on the sequel began last Summer with John Cusack dropping out and Adam Scott filling in as Cusack's son. Speaking with Collider, Adam Scott and Clark Duke (that glasses kid that isn't funny and just stands there) stated that the film is expected to release sometime early next year:

“I think Hot Tub comes out in the spring,” said Scott, after which Duke chimed in and clarified, “In March.”

So there you go. Nothing more specific than that, but it's what we have to go on now until an official date is released. Keep an eye on this post for an updated release date if you care that HTTMT is happening. Don't all click at once, now.
