Incredible 2 has an incredibles new trailer

No capes

People are pretty amped up for Incredibles 2, and its pretty easy to see why. Pixar almost never delivers a bad movie, and they seem pretty immune to sequalitis (the disease that makes most sequels worse than the first film). In fact aside from Cars 2 all their sequels have been pretty stellar so there's no reason to think this one is going to fall flat.

Judging from the trailer it looks fun at the very least. The secret magic of Pixar is the heart, though, and we don't really get a look at that here... yet. We might not ever in the trailers. It's not like Disney really needs to push that to get butts in seats so why would they. Leave the more complex emotional stuff for the theater where people can be surprised.

Just bring some tissues for when the entire family dies in the first Up-style ten minutes of the film.

Incredibles 2 opens on June 15, 2018.
