Is The Man Who Killed Don Quixote back on track?

Terry Gilliam's long-suffering project The Man Who Killed Don Quixote may finally be headed to production after nearly fifteen years of trials and tribulations. The film, about a man transported back in time to travel with Don Quixote (yes, I know he's fictional, so time travel doesn't exactly work like that, but you should shut up now), was famously featured in the documentary Lost in La Mancha, which showed the film's crippling troubles when it first went into production in 2000.

Now, the film's writer Tony Grisoni has stated, "You will be pleased to hear the Don is back up and in the saddle and ready to ride under new colours." This could just be a case of someone connected to the project engaging in some wishful thinking, as there's been no new news that the film has been newly funded, but I really would love to see another Terry Gilliam movie. I'm one of those guys that even loves Tideland, which Xander is writing up for an upcoming Cult Club entry. Here's hoping The Man Who Killed Don Quixote might actually, finally come out in theaters some day.
