Jeff Goldblum to play The Riddler in Justice League and Ben Affleck's Batman film

Riddle, uh, umm, huh, me THIS, Batman!

News is unfolding fast out of Warner Bros. and DC as they're ramping up their cinematic universe. Ben Affleck's solo Batman film was just greenlit, and George Miller has replaced Zack Snyder on Justice League. In major casting news, the one and only Jeff Goldblum has just been added as The Riddler in both Affleck's Batman and Miller's Justice League.

Goldblum is a natural pick to play The Riddler. His line delivery is so quizzical and quirky, and his mannerisms are so perfect to play a criminal mastermind who can go toe-to-toe with Batman mentally. It's still unclear what role The Riddler will play in these two movies, but unnamed sources suggest he could be integral to the plot, perhaps even playing a villain with heroic tendencies.

Riddle me this, readers: what do you think of Jeff Goldblum as The Riddler? Sound off in the comments.
