Joel McHale returns to TV with trailer detailing what he does best

Being a condescending, yet hilarious, jerk

Joel McHale's best television has always been him, as a dude, in front of a green screen making fun of everything that needed making fun of. Thus, I'm happy to this trailer for The Joel McHale Show. Actually, we don't know yet if he'll have a green screen, or a desk, or maybe a stuffed grizzly to ride around the set. A man can dream.

McHale is probably best known from his time hosting The Soup, which ran from 2004 - 2015 and on Community as more gentle Joel McHale, Jeff Winger. His last outing, The Great Outdoors only made it one season before being canceled after the 2016 - 2017 season.

What's most interesting about this though: this is Netflix, and it's a weekly debuting show. That's a move in a very un-Netflix like direction.

McHale wears a dick shirt weekly, starting on February 18, 2018
