Jurassic Park 4 lands 2015 release date and title

They’re back!

First, childhood-books high five to everyone out there that gets that reference. Second, Jurassic Park 4 has gotten a release date of June 12, 2015 and a shiny title of Jurassic World. The film, which Spielberg has been working to get out the door for a while now was delayed from 2014 to this date for quality purposes.

There’s little known about the Derek Conelly and Colin Trevorrow draft script that the film will be shooting on, but Trevorrow, whose only other big screen release is the charming indy comedy Safety Not Guaranteed, will be directing.

I’d say 2015 is a long wait, but then I’d have to actually be waiting for this one. Spielberg’s involvement as producer is great, but so far every sequel to Jurassic Park has been nothing stellar, and with a title like Jurassic World this is sound more and more like a sequel that’s actually a remake/rehash.
