By Apparently, I need to start going to the Toronto International Film Festival. Everything I’ve seen of this year’s lineup has sounded amazing, and I am wicked jealous of the folk that can go. You’re Next is a home-invasion horror film that’s made big waves at TIFF. It’s a reasonably stock plot (family is hounded by masked killers), but most of the reviews I’ve read paint it in a great light. Lionsgate has purchased the distribution rights to the picture, though no release dates have been announced yet.
I look forward to finally seeing You’re Next whenever Lionsgate releases it. It sounds really awesome.
