Mark Wahlberg gets beat up in a bathroom in first trailer for Spenser Confidential

A new Netflix slugfest!

Netflix is keeping its stream of original content flowing with a new movie starring Calvin Klein underwear model and Wahlburgers co-founder Mark Wahlberg. Joined by Winston Duke, Spenser Confidential is the streaming service's upcoming buddy crime-comedy from director Peter Berg (Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon).

And yes, Mark Wahlberg slugged Post Malone in that trailer.

Former cop Spenser (Wahlberg) is released from his stretch in prison looking to leave his Boston locale for greener pastures. Y'know, get out of the life for good. But when old friends wind up dead he's saddled with upstart boxer Hawk (Duke), and the two carve out a path of suitably-busted heads and run red lights across the streets of Boston.

Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Marc Maron, and Bokeem Woodbine co-star.

Based on Ace Atkins' crime novel Wonderland, Spenser Confidential is set to hit Netflix on March 6, 2020. Time enough to get into the Bahstahn spirit for Saint Patrick's Day!
