Netflix and Adam Sandler are making movies together

With Netflix's latest announcement of exclusively hosting Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon's sequel (and thus making a lot of theater chains so angry they're refusing to show it), and this news, it's safe to say Netflix is getting serious about its place in the film industry. While you can currently enjoy past favorites, now we're going to get brand new films on the service.

Since Adam Sandler is consistently one of the highest searched actors on the service, Netflix has signed a deal with his Happy Madison production company for four films that Sandler is also going to star in. Sandler of course had this to say about the deal:

When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said ‘yes’ for one reason and one reason only… Netflix rhymes with ‘wet chicks"..."Let the streaming begin!”

So, yeah, more Adam Sandler films. At least all you need to do to avoid these is never put them in your Queue. Or, like me, put them in your queue and completely forget about them for all eternity.
