Netflix has found its Julia for the live action Cowboy Bebop

They found someone Gifted

Netflix's live-action adaptation of classic anime Cowboy Bebop has added Elena Satine as its Julia. She joins the previously announced cast that will inhabit the world of bounty hunting space cowboys and super-intelligent dogs, including John Cho as Spike Spiegel.

In the anime, Julia was an important part of Spike's past when his criminal activities were a little less legal than his bounty hunting. Julia is described as "a sultry beauty and a voice to die for, Julia is the dream-like object of Spike Spiegel's desire. She struggles to survive in a violent world." It shouldn't be a surprise that the official character description nails the character as the anime director, Shinichiro Watanabe, is a consultant on the series. Satine was recently seen in the canceled series The Gifted and could bring the right feel to this character. It should be exciting to see when the series premieres.
