New details on Elton John biopic Rocketman

Rocketman, the in-progress biopic about singer/songwriter Elton John, is shaping up to be as unconventional as the man himself. John is acting as executive producer on the project, so it's sort of more of an auto-biopic.

One of the other producers for the project, Stephen Hamilton Shaw, said that “Rocketman will be a radically different kind of biopic. It will be as unique as Elton’s life, told in a non-linear and hyper-visual manner that will transport people through the many intense experiences, some wonderful, some not, that helped define Elton as an artist, musician and man.” This approach makes sense to me in the vein that John is sort of a non-linear, hyper-visual individual himself, though it's certainly an interesting way to do a biopic!
