Nick Cannon developing Drumline sequel for VH1

lol

Unbeknownst to me, 2002's Drumline, a film about a college marching band starring Nick Cannon, has a huge following. In fact, when this news hit our tip line, a good amount of our own editors perked up and shouted their love of the film from the rooftops. But not me, as I've always hated the use of "Two Way Tie" in the finale. Isn't a "two way tie" just a "tie"? Whatever.

Point is, Nick Cannon is currently working on a made for TV sequel titled Drumline: A New Beat releasing this fall on VH1. Why VH1? Because repeat airings of the film continually earn high ratings for some reason. Guess now's a good a time as any to rewatch the first one.
