No Time To Die gets delayed to November 2020

Now there's more time to wait...

After canceling the Chinese premiere of No Time To Die due to the spread of the coronavirus, MGM has decided to delay the release of the next James Bond film to November 2020. The decision came from a fan campaign that had asked the production company to take consideration of the global marketplace so that everyone could see the movie at the same time.

As of right now, the film is scheduled to release on November 12, 2020 in the UK and November 25, 2020 in the US. Other territories will see the film land in the same month, though MGM isn't settled on specifics yet. This is a shocking turn of events for a film that is completely finished and shows a rare touch of consideration on the part of a major studio.

There's no real fear of people getting sick from watching a movie, but a gathering of citizens in a public space just to watch some dumb action flick isn't worth dying over. For MGM to delay such a major release at practically the last minute is not only unprecedented, but awesome to see.
