Pacific Rim featurette shows off lots of robots, action

As if you needed any more of a reason to be excited to see Guillermo del Toro's upcoming Summer action movie Pacific Rim, in this new behind the scenes featurette, the director talks about some of the crazy set design that went into helping portray a sense of realism in the movie.

Basically, in order to have the actors really feel like they were inside of a giant robot, del Toro created a huge mechanical set to knock them around! Del Toro says that the action in the movie is "what you would have dreamt to see when you were eleven years old," which is a pretty tall order. We'll see if Pacific Rim will live up to the dreams of 11 year olds when it hits theaters July 12th!
