By And just like that, today got amazing. /Film is reporting via Deadline that Paul Thomas Anderson will be shooting his follow up to There Will Be Blood, The Master, starting June 13. For those that don’t remember, The Master, is loosely based around the foundation of Scientology, and will star Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. Also in the report is that Harvey Weinstein has purchased worldwide distribution rights for the film.
This is wonderful news, and not just because P.T. Anderson is making a new movie, but he’s making the movie he (I would imagine) wanted to make first. How about you guys? Excited that P.T. Anderson is finally making another movie, or do you just want to hear more about Hunger Games casting?
