Pee-Wee returns in Pee-Wee's Big Holiday on Netflix

Why Netflix? He's a loner, a rebel...

It's been teased for years now, but it's finally official-- comedian Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens) is finally making his long awaited cinematic return in a new original movie headed exclusively to Netflix.  The film has been given the title Pee-Wee's Big Holiday and will also represent a directorial debut for John Lee.  Big Holiday is also being produced by comedy giant Judd Apatow as originally announced.  Not much has been revealed about the plot of the film just yet, but filming is already set to begin in March.

"Judd and I dreamt up this movie four years ago," notes Pee-Wee. "The world was much different back then— Netflix was waiting by the mailbox for red envelopes to arrive. I’ve changed all that. The future is here. Get used to it. Bowtie is the new black"

After hearing so much about Pee-Wee's new projects since he started his comeback in recent years, it's finally great to hear that the movie is actually happening and just big speculation.  I think it's safe to say that the world will end up being a better place once a third Pee-Wee movie exists in it.
