Promo/trailer for Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises

We shared a brief teaser of Hayao Miyazaki’s The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu) a few weeks ago, but now we have a gorgeous four-minute trailer for the film. It’s preceded by some promo material featuring Miyazaki and a few fellow Ghibli-ites.

The Wind Rises is based on the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed the Zero fighter plane in WWII. The film will be out in Japan later this year. Still awaiting information on international release.
