Psych: The Movie 2 and entire series headed to NBC's Peacock

I know you know...

Fans of the hit USA show Psych will be happy to learn that NBC's Peacock streaming service will become the exclusive digital home of the series this year. In addition to that, the long awaited Psych: The Movie 2 will premiere on the service this spring. News of the film actually broke last week (along with a title change to Psych 2: Lassie Come Home), but the entire series getting shifted from Netflix to Peacock is sure to be a big shakeup for fans.

With a number of different streaming services starting to segment television programs, situations like this are bound to become more frequent. Since NBC Universal has a pretty big catalog of hit shows, Peacock could end up being profitable purely from its legacy programs. Psych may not be one of those, but dammit if it's not worth watching all the same!

As for when you'll be able to watch Lassie Come Home, Peacock will be launching this April. It seems Shawn and Gus will be returning shortly after. Get ready to jump back into the blueberry and solve some murders!
