Resident Evil 6 still happening, has a release date

Whether we want it or not, Resident Evil: Retribution (don't forget the 3D subtitle!) did so well in theaters (earning over 200 million), Sony is moving forward with their sixthquel in the "fabulous" Resident Evil series. At least Paul W.S Anderson admits that he had plans for six films anyway, so we might get something good out of this. But I'll just say this. If Michelle "Tanktop Jesus" Rodriguez being a badass couldn't make your film good, then something went wrong somewhere.

Regardless, Resident Evil 6 (no subtitle or story details as of yet) releases September 12 next year. Stay tuned in the coming months for more info.
