Rick and Morty returns November 10 for five new episodes

*BLECH*

It's been a few months since Adult Swim last talked Rick and Morty, but we now finally have a concrete date for the duo's return. The off-beat, snarky series will be hitting airwaves on November 10 for a five-episode run. A new trailer shows that nothing has been toned down from the past, which is sure to please fans that have been patiently waiting.

I'm liking the jabs at Marvel and how self-referential this trailer looks. I've always appreciated those elements in Rick and Morty, even if the fanbase seems to think it's some next-level comedic masterpiece of a show. Sometimes you just have to separate the more hardcore fans from the actual property, which definitely helps in appreciating the subtleties that creator Dan Harmon has imbued in this series.
