By Second Trailer for Ender's Game (Orson Scott Card)
The road to Ender’s Game has been a long and rough one. If the adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s text wasn’t riddled with delays, it’s riddled with controversy because Card tends to be a jerk or something. After the first somewhat lacking trailer failed to set the world on fire, does the second trailer for Ender’s Game do the job? Well…not really.
Ender’s Game is the first in a series of novels (and is most likely the last movie) about a kid, named Ender, drafted into a special war school to fight both aliens and shenanigans. The trailer itself shows a bit of new stuff, but it really hammers home that “THIS IS NOT A GAME.” It’s a bit heavy handed if you’re at all familiar with the books. Ender’s Game ends all games November 1st.
