See wild west shootouts and beatdowns aplenty in trailer for The Outsider

Even the rain can't wash away all that blood

There's nothing quite like a good bloody western, and if this trailer is any indication, The Outsider looks like it'll fit well into that steadily shrinking genre. It's weird to think that at one point before probably anyone who's reading this was born westerns were as huge and unstoppable as Marvel flicks are now. Of course, with the fistfights and bloodshed, this doesn't quite look like your classic western--and I'm more than okay with that.

We have Trace Adkins starring with Jon Foo, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Danny Trejo in this revenge tale of a railroad worker's retaliation against a corrupt town. From the trailer (and most revenge movies), I'd wager some thugs killed his wife. This looks cool and thrilling, and I'm digging the addition of martial arts into the usual western fare. Let's hope it works out.

The Outsider will ride into theaters and VOD on June 14, 2019.
