By Fans of the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, the series of movies by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, have reason to rejoice today! Many fans knew that the duo had started writing the final entry in the trilogy earlier this year, but now we have confirmation from Pegg himself that the script for The World’s End is finished.
Pegg posted a photo of the script’s cover page on his personal Twitter account stating, “I know we took our sweet time but as soon as I get back from outer space, we can finish this thing once and for all.” So basically, once Star Trek 2 is all said and done with, Pegg can begin the last of the trilogy. Pretty exciting, especially since I’d bet that means that production can likely start within the next year!
