SNL audition parodies for Back to the Future

Saturday Night Live is one of those shows that I never watch but I’m still glad it exists. It’s had its ups and downs since it began over 30 years ago, but it’s never too long before it comes up with a hilarious comedy skit that you’ll be linking to your friends all week. With a dozen different actor parodies in this past weekend’s John Hamm episode, this is definitely that SNL video that has something everyone can enjoy.

Al Pacino, Eddie Murphy, Alan Alda, and Bill Cosby were my favorites, but it also includes parodies on Jennifer Tilly, Sam Kinison, Robin Williams, Nicolas Cage, Prince, Bill Cosby, Gilbert Gottfried, Joan Cusak, and Pee-wee Herman. Overall, Eddie Murphy is the favorite in the Flixist/Dtoid office this morning by far. It’s scary how much he nails the imitation.

I won’t even bother trying to find the two clips on YouTube since NBC has become pretty skilled at keeping their content centralized on the Web even years after skits have aired. You can view both audition parody segments here on Hulu at the 17:54 and 25:08 video timeline spots.
