Teaser trailer for The Interview, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco

0

Oh man.

James Franco and Seth Rogen are the peanut butter and jelly of the film world; they just work so well together. And their dynamic duo-ness holds up strong in the first teaser for their upcoming and undoubtably hilarious comedy, The Interview. Rogen and Franco star as two journalists who seek to earn their legitimacy in the industry by interviewing dictator Kim Jong-un. However, when the CIA recruits the pair to assassinate Jong-un instead, shenanigans run amok!

Between this trailer and the fact that The Interview is another Rogen/Evan Goldberg collaboration (Pineapple Express, Superbad, This is the End) I have the upmost faith that this will be incredibly funny. Also, the forever wonderful Lizzy Caplan co-stars, cementing this flick as one that I can't wait to see.

Here's the The Interview's official synopsis:

"In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un."

The Interview hits theaters October 10th.
