By Hip hop heads, stand up. One of the greatest and most influential of the 80’s hip hop movement, A Tribe Called Quest, have been filmed in a doc directed by Michael Rapaport (Special). The documentary, fully-titled Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest, follows Rapaport’s experience with the group during their last tour and explore the intricacies and turmoil surrounding the members.
Mr. Andres Bolivar reviewed the doc during Tribeca and had good things to say about it. If you lost your wallet in El Segundo, I heard a rumor that they’ve moved the lost and found over to theaters on July 8th.
