Trailer for The Book of Life continues to look bueno

The Book of Life, produced by Guillermo Del Toro and directed by Jorge Gutierrez (who once created one of my favorite cartoons ever, El Tigre), looks absolutely stunning. I've completely fallen for this Die de Muertos film since it's got Gutierrez's trademark blocky design, and mix of Latin/English cultures.

Starring Diego Luna and Channing Tatum as two men fighting over the love of the beautiful Maria (Zoe Saldana), as Manolo (Luna) has to fight his way from "The Land of the Forgotten" to the living world. I'm not quite sure how bland the trailer's overtones are, but if this is anything like Gutierrez's line of work, it's going to be full of Latin flare. The Book of Life releases October 17th.
