Trailer: The Complex

0

It’s hard to believe that Hideo Nakata’s The Ring (Ringu, the Japanese one) came out 15 years ago, kicking off the Japanese horror boom. Nakata’s back with a new film called The Complex. While the trailer above doesn’t have subtitles, it gets by on mood and imagery alone.

The Complex is about a nursing student named Asuka (Atsuko Maeda) who moves into a new apartment with her family. She learns of various deaths in the building over the years, which may be linked to somebody else also living in the complex.

The Complex comes out in Japan on May 18th. No word yet on future international release plans.
