Trailer: The History of Future Folk

After years of neglect, the Alien Folk Duo Sci-Fi Action Romance Comedy genre is finally getting some attention with John Mitchell and Jeremy Kipp Walker's The History of Future Folk. The movie stars Nils d’Aulaire and Jay Klaitz as a couple of aliens from the planet Hondo. d'Aulaire's character (Bill) was sent to destroy Earth but decided to go native after falling for Earth's music, and Klaitz's character (Kevin) was sent from Hondo to convince Bill to complete his original mission, though Bill tires to get Kevin to see what Earth is really all about.

The History of Future Folk looks insanely charming, the movie premiered and won a bunch of stuff at last year's Fantastic Fest. The History of Future Folk will becoming to limited theaters on May 31st and Video On Demand on June 4th. I definitely can't wait to check this one out!
