Trailer: The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

0

And behold, 10 years after Peter Jackson's The Fellowship of the Ring was released, we now have the first trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The film will be out on December 14, 2012. The second and concluding part of this Hobbit's tale -- The Hobbit: There and Back Again -- will be out in December 2013.

What do we get? Little whispers of the old Howard Shore score, some sonorous dwarven singing, and some familiar things revisited. The tone of the film seems different from the original Lord of the Rings film trilogy, but that makes sense given the different tone of this story. We'll see how it all turns out come next year.
