UK Looper poster is very, very, very blue

Rian Johnson's time-travel thriller Looper has a new poster for the UK, and it's the bluest thing you'll ever see, as though cunningly designed to excite British eyes by reminding them of the CHAMPIONS OF FRICKIN' EUROPE. Yes, I went there. Anyway, where the American poster is focused on stars Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the British alternative is more mysterious, showing the time machine without much in the way of explanation. It's an eye-catching image, but probably more confusing than anything for people who don't know what the movie is about.

If you're one of Flixist's more eagle-eyed readers, which we assume is basically all of our readers (you're all superheroes, right?), you may have noticed a number combination scratched across the door in the foreground. The code only leads to a viral site entitled 'Who Is The Rainmaker?' (Dustin Hoffman? Oh wait...) where you can watch the movie's teaser and find a hidden image, but concealing little secrets in the poster is a cool way of encouraging fans to engage with the movie's promotional campaign. Looper is out on September 28th and should be a hoot. And Emily Blunt's in it.
