VFW trailer sets up one bloody barroom brawl

From the director of Bliss

We have one stylish 80's throwback, looking to be brutal in all the right ways, with the above trailer for VFW. The setup sees a group of Vietnam vets hanging at their local VFW bar celebrating a birthday when a girl storms inside with a bundle of drugs and a gang of spike-and-leather mutant punks on her heels. These violent monsters are ready to take back what's theirs by any means necessary, but the vets aren't about to sit idly by while they do do their damage. What follows looks to be one hell of a siege.

Director Joe Begos of Bliss note has infused VFW with tons of the red lighting and pulsing synth music to invoke that bygone decade of trashy horror in the best possible way. It has pure midnight energy, and I'm very much looking forward to experiencing it.

VFW will hit theaters and VOD on February 14, 2020.
