Watch Mad Max: Fury Road-style action with go karts and paintball guns

My world is fire and blood... and paint

There have been a lot of Mad Max: Fury Road homages since the film's release (e.g., Mario Kart, Conan O'BrienAdventure Time). The most recent one that's hit the interwebs is called Mad Max: Fury Road GoKart Paintball War. It's directed by Devin SuperTramp (Devin Graham) and is pretty damn fun.

Sadly there is no Doof Warrior go kart. But still...

The video--apart from being a solid small-scale, 10 mph stunt showcase--has a really professional sheen, and with reason. It's a bit of viral marketing sponsored by WB Games to promote the forthcoming Mad Max video game. The three minutes of action was shot over two days in Green River, Utah (aka the Namibia of Utah).

Check out the behind-the-scenes footage below.

The DVD/Blu-ray of Mad Max: Fury Road and the Mad Max video game both come out on September 1st.

On that day, you will arrive at the gates of Valhalla, shiny and chrome.
