13-minute featurette on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

We’re one week away from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, and if you’re looking for some new footage to get you hyped, here’s a 13-minute featurette for the film via Warner Bros. Belgium. It’s got loads of new stuff, including how they designed the look of the dwarves and how/why they turned a single book into three movies.

The above featurette dedicates a little time to Sylvester McCoy’s Radagast the Brown as well. Hopefully the character isn’t as silly on the big screen as he seems here. I actually have a soft spot for McCoy because I liked his take on Doctor Who when I was kid. Come to think of it, I have inadvertently dressed like the Seventh Doctor for much of my adult life. My god, what have I done?
