50 Shades of Grey sequels land release dates

We did not like 50 Shades of Grey, but sadly our entirely correct opinion of the film didn’t mean it flopped. It instead went on to make a lot of money and so the sequels are a go. Variety reports that the series will stick with its Valentines release strategy as 50 Shades Darker will land on Feb. 10, 2017 and 50 Shades Freed will land on Feb. 9, 2018.

We’re probably waiting an extra year because everything blew up after the first film released. Both the director and screenwriter have left and now Niall Leonard, husband of “Fifty Shades” author E.L. James, will be writing the screenplay. You wanted to know how it could get worse. There’s your answer.

If, for some reason, you just can’t wait to see some more 50 Shades then you should pick up the Blu-ray, which will feature an exclusive teaser for 50 Shades Darker. Of course with no director and no screenplay done yet this teaser will actually have nothing to do with the actual film released, but it will have a shot of Christian Gret putting a mask on as the above below is from it.
